Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 255 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern, New York. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern by visiting now.

Professional, kind, patient and polite staff, clean, well keepped,, and the food in the cafeteria is delicious! Mother’s doctor relocated and this is the hospital that he is affiliated with. I was reluctant to travel such a distance, an hour and a half from my home, but it was worth it. My mother is 89 years old and I have always wanted the best for her. I’ve spent many days with my parents in hospitals and this is one of the best! Totally surprised and pleased!

Just had a TEE yesterday. Registration person was personable and helpful. The nurse (Mary) was incredible. She was very patient and explained everything in detail. Dr Katz was outstanding. He explained the entire procedure, and presented it in a very relaxed, professional manner. I was made to feel relaxed and confident about the test. Overall, very impressed.

I had a hernia repair here and EVERYONE I met here was extremely helpful and friendly. I've never been to a hospital where the staff made me feel this comfortable and relaxed before a surgery. I will never go with another hospital!

I was seen immediately. I came in around noon on a Wednesday and was sent directly into triage. From there I waited only two minutes before I was sent to emergency room. After that I was seen by the nurse within 5 minutes. A woman came and got signatures and the doctor was less than 10 minutes behind her. The billing lady came shortly after that and I received a shot for my pain all within this short time frame. After laying for about 15 minutes the pain was gone. It was a short while before the tech and then doctor returned and I received my script and discharge papers. Id say I was in and out within 2 hours and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. A great thanks to Dr Ellerman, Kym, my nurse, and my Ed manager and tech J Green and Liz Wilson. By far the best emergency room service I've had to date. Hard act to follow. Thank you so much!

I had to visit the ER yesterday morning. The min I walked into the hospital till the moment I left I had the best experience. Every person I met was pleasant, every room I visited was clean and I was only there for about an hour. The PA took the time to listen to my concerns and he explained in detail what I should do to feel better. Thank you to the staff at Good Sam!

My husband was admitted with what we thought was a heart attack. He was treated immediately in the ER with excellent care. My son and I were allowed to be beside him almost continuously. He was diagnosed with 5 pulmonary embolisms after exhaustive testing and spent 5 nights/4 days in hospital. To a person, we experienced competent, caring professionals and staff all of whom showd genuine interest the patient and in our family and friends. Altogether, the experience was extremely positive despite our initial distress. If you are in Rockland County, go to Good Sam!
